GPS Navigation System to Guide You Home

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

Do you often find yourself getting lost?  Not just down the good ‘ol path of life, but lost in the streets.  Or how about printing out those Google Maps that are hard to hold, read and drive all at one time.  Getting from place to place can be tricky, so make it an easier process with an easy-to-use GPS navigation system.

 A Little GPS Story

About two months ago I made the trek from Madison, Wis., to Atlanta, Ga.  I went through Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and finally found my way into Georgia after 14 long hours.  But nothing made this trip better than my little companion … my Garmin Nuvi 260W.  As soon as I pulled out of my driveway in Wisconsin to the time I arrived in Atlanta, my GPS system guided me seamlessly and efficiently to my destination.  I didn’t have to print out pages of maps and carry with me atlas upon atlas, all I needed to do was type in my “final destination” and my GPS system showed me my expected arrival time as well as turn-by-turn directions.  Check out some of Gammoth’s GPS Navigation Systems that will allow you to drive with ease and arrive on time.

Lost no Longer! Thank you Garmin!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

On the way back from a Brewer’s game the other week, I found myself turned around in the Wisconsin wilderness. After driving around forever, and doubling the time it should have taken to get back home, we searched for a gas station that was still open in the middle of the night (hey, it’s Wisconsin) and finally found a friendly older man to help guide us to Highway 59. If you’ve ever been completely lost, you know the frustration and fear that I was feeling - and how great it would be to never feel like that again. Enter Garmin. With top of the line GPS devices that will suit whatever your need is, “lost” will be a thing of the past.

Verizon’s Chaperone Service Helps Parents and Kids Stay in Contact

Monday, July 21st, 2008

Verizon Wireless’s Chaperone and ChildZone services allow parents to keep tabs on their kids whenever their phone is on them. With Chaperone, you can check the location of your child at any time, and the GPS locators in the phone will tell you where you can find your child. With ChildZone, you are alerted if your child leaves (or enters) a designated zone.

The Chaperone service is offered for just $9.99 a month, while the ChildZone is a bit steeper at $19.99, and both of these services can be tacked onto your plan and used with a variety of phones. From the cool music-focused Samung Juke for your middle-schooler to the top-of-the-line LG Voyager for you to keep track of him or her, the selection of Parent/Child (can locate other phones and can be located), Parent (can locate other phones), or Child (can be located) phones is extensive and allows you to choose a phone that is a perfect fit for you and for your family.

Accessible from your PC or phone, this service is a dream-come-true for concerned parents who want to make sure they are always aware of their child’s whereabouts. For anyone on your family plan, you can keep track of their location at all times. And really, it doesn’t hurt to have an extra eye on the lookout for your loved ones.
